Can Venetian plaster and mineral finishes be used around gas and electric fireplaces?
Often yes. The system depends on fireplace type, substrate, required clearances and manufacturer specifications. Yafalux specifies the build-up around the appliance rather than using one system for every firebox.
Can you finish over an existing brick or tile fireplace?
In many projects, yes. Masonry or tile can be prepared, levelled and reinforced before an appropriate mineral finish. The substrate is assessed first.
How long does a fireplace or feature-wall project take?
Many single-wall projects take several working days depending on prep, finish, dry time and any sculptural or lighting work.
